Vital Apprentices Triumph at Berkeley Awards

We are celebrating success at Berkeley Group’s 2018 Apprentice Awards after one of our apprentices won the Best Plumber Apprentice Award, and a second apprentice was recognised as Highly Commended in the same category.

Dylan Mallia was honoured with the Best Plumber Award after impressing Berkeley Homes with his work on Royal Arsenal Riverside, his humble attitude, and his dedication to the job. Having worked with Vital for two years now, Dylan has nearly completed his NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, and is now working on our project at Kidbrooke Village.

Teddy Horsfield was Highly Commended in the same category and is close to completing his NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, after which he will continue onto his Level 3. Teddy is currently working on our Ram Brewery project and is seen as a quality member of the team.

The award ceremony took place at The Bridge Theatre on 25th September and celebrates outstanding training and development within the industry, highlighting upcoming talents and giving hard-working people the credit they deserve.

Dylan, shared, “I am delighted to have been awarded the Best Plumber Award and that my work has made such a positive impression on Berkeley. During the last two years that I have worked for Vital and on Berkeley projects, my knowledge and skills have grown and I look forward to continuing this development at Kidbrooke Village.”

Teddy, adds, “It is a great achievement to have been recognised as Highly Commended, and I am thrilled to see a fellow colleague take the top spot. It is a pleasure to work with the Berkeley Group on their projects and I have enjoyed the opportunity their schemes have provided to develop my skills within the field.”

Congratulations to them both and to all the other winners and nominees.
